As a kitchen steward you are an indispensable link for all departments on board! When we talk about team positions, this is one that absolutely cannot be missed. You work together with the executive chef and are responsible for coordinating the correct manner in the dishwashing kitchen. Also assisting the chefs with their various tasks regarding preparing excellent meals for our colleagues and passengers. Working as a kitchen steward is the perfect starter job to get to know what kitchen-life is about.

You:

You are service-oriented and have an enthusiastic appearance and you get along well with different types of people

Preferably previous (river) cruise experience

Good physical condition (fit for duty)

Your colleagues enjoy working with you. You can also work independently and take responsibility

The well-being of the crew on the ship is important to you

You are open minded and flexible and have a hands-on mentality

You have basic knowledge of the HACCP guidelines

You are resistant to stress and resilient and have no issues with being away from home for a few months

Basic English skills (written & verbal), some German knowledge is a big advantage
