Hotel Manager

As a hotel manager, you are responsible for all guests and employees on board the ship. You supervise the various departments and manage them where necessary. This includes overseeing the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean and comfortable, coordinating with the kitchen to provide high-quality meals, and managing the front desk to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs. Additionally, you address any guest complaints or issues promptly to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Your role also involves budgeting, scheduling, and maintaining inventory levels. Effective communication with your team and other departments is crucial to ensure the ship operates efficiently and provides an exceptional guest experience.

You:
Strong knowledge in all hotel operations, including F&B, housekeeping and reception
Experience within hospitality in a similar position with outstanding and proven management skills and hands-on experience
Preferably previous (river) cruise experience in a management role

You are open minded and flexible and have a hands-on mentality
You are able to train and support crew members in each area of hotel operations
You are resistant to stress and resilient
Excellent English skills (written & verbal), German knowledge is a big advantage
